Key Benefits of Phenolic Mortar / Cement

Exceptional Chemical Resistance

Withstands concentrated sulfuric acid (H2SO4), non-oxidizing acids, dilute oxidizing acids, solvents, and neutral salts.

High-Temperature Tolerance

Performs reliably up to 170°C, ensuring longevity in extreme conditions.

Strong Mechanical Properties

Offers excellent bond strength (10 Kg/cm²), compressive strength (350 Kg/cm²), and low water absorption (1%).

Self-Hardening Formula

Chemically cures without external intervention, simplifying application.

Preparation and Application

Mortar / Cement Mixing
  • Mixing Ratio : 1 part solution to 3 parts powder (by weight), adjustable based on temperature and conditions.
  • Process : Stir the solution thoroughly, then add powder in a mixing pan. Blend with a spatula or trowel until uniform.
  • Tip : Prepare small batches to ensure freshness and workability. Use all mixed Mortar / Cement before preparing a new batch.
Surface Preparation
  • Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or oil.
  • Maintain a slightly rough cement-plastered surface with proper alignment and slope for optimal adhesion.
  • Note: Acid-proof linings cannot compensate for improper slopes.
Curing Process
  • Initial Setting : 6–8 hours at 30°C.
  • Final Setting : 24–48 hours at 30°C.
  • Full Curing: 7 days at 30°C.
  • Important: Avoid water exposure during curing to ensure maximum strength.

Storage and Shelf Life

Solution

  • 2 months at 32°C
  • 3 months at 27°C
  • Store in a cool, dry place to prevent auto-polymerization (gel formation renders it unusable).

Powder

  • 6 months at 30°C
  • Keep in original, sealed containers under a roof in a cool, dry environment.
Packaging

Mixing Ratio: 1 part Solution to 3 parts Powder (adjust slightly based on temperature and conditions)

  • Solution : 25 Kgs Plastic Carbo
  • Powder : 25 kg in plastic bags
  • Export Packing : Customized as per customer requirements.
